Visualizing

My session didn't get logged. Why?
Only sessions of two minutes or longer count, and only the time the timer is running counts toward the two minutes. Pausing stops the clock. Once you pass two minutes, the day is marked on the reach's calendar when you stop.
Can I visualize from the Lock Screen?
Yes. While the timer runs, it appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. You can pause or stop it from there.
Where are my streaks?
Reach doesn't count streaks or show missed days. The calendar shows the days you visualized, and that's all. Nothing is lost when you skip a day.

Reaches

How many reaches can I have?
Three active reaches are free. Archived reaches don't count toward the limit, so you can archive one to make room. Reach Further removes the limit.
How do I hide a reach?
Touch and hold a reach on the home screen and choose Hide. Hidden reaches disappear from the board and from widgets. To see them, open the menu in the top corner and choose Reveal Hidden Reaches, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. They re-lock whenever you leave the app.
What happens when I archive a reach?
It moves to Archived, along with the reason you chose. Nothing is deleted. You can restore it at any time from the Archived screen, or permanently delete it from there.
How do next step reminders work?
Each reach can have one next step with a due date. Reach sends a local notification when it's due, and you can mark it done or extend it a week straight from the notification. If you don't see reminders, check that notifications are allowed for Reach in Settings.

Scripts

What is a script?
One paragraph about your reach, written as though it has already happened, that you read aloud morning and night. Open a reach, pull up the drawer, and tap the script card. You can always write your own, and what you write never leaves your iPhone.
What does "Write it for me" do?
It sends that one reach's title, details, why, and month to reachforit.app, which has a first draft written and sends the paragraph straight back. The first time you tap it, Reach explains this and asks you to agree. Nothing is stored, and your photos and other reaches are never sent. This is a Reach Further feature; see the privacy policy.
I said no to sending it. Do I still get a draft?
Yes. Reach puts one together on your iPhone from what you have already written. It is plainer, and you can edit it or replace it entirely.
The draft isn't right.
Tap Edit and change anything you like — the script is yours from the moment it appears, and nothing is saved until you keep it. Drafts read better when the reach has specific details and a month set, because that is all the draft is written from.
Can I read my script while the timer runs?
Yes. Tap Script on the visualization screen and it comes up over the timer.

Talking a reach through

What is "Talk it through"?
Instead of filling in a form, you answer a few questions — ten at most, one at a time — and Reach suggests a title, details, why, and the month. You edit all of it on a review screen before anything is saved. It's on the New Reach sheet, and on any reach you haven't described yet. Reach Further only.
Where does the conversation go?
Each turn is sent to reachforit.app and answered. Nothing is stored between turns or after you close it, and nothing else in Reach is sent. See the privacy policy.
Do I have to finish it?
No. Close the sheet at any point and nothing is written. If you accept the suggestion, Reach also drafts that reach's first script from the same answers.

Apple Health

How do I send my sessions to Health?
Open the menu in the top corner of the home screen and turn on the Apple Health switch, then allow Reach to write Mindful Minutes. It's off until you do. Each logged session is added as a Mindful Session for the time the timer was actually running.
Does Reach read my Health data?
Only the Mindful Minutes it wrote itself, so a session is never added twice. Nothing else in Health is read, and nothing is sent anywhere.
I turned it off. What happens to what's already there?
Sessions already in Health stay there. Delete them in the Health app if you want them gone. You can also revoke access entirely in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Reach.

Widgets and Controls

Which widgets are there?
Vision board, calendar, daily focus, proof, and overview widgets for the Home Screen, plus Lock Screen widgets. Add them the same way as any other widget: touch and hold the Home Screen or Lock Screen and choose Reach.
What about Control Center?
Reach adds two controls: one to log a win and one to start a visualization timer. Add them from the Control Center editor. They also work in the Lock Screen quick-action slots and on the Action button.
A widget is showing the wrong reach.
Touch and hold the widget, choose Edit Widget, and pick the reach you want. Hidden and archived reaches are never shown in widgets.

Reach Further

Reach Further is $4.99 a month. It lifts the three-reach limit and adds having your script written for you and talking a reach through.

I subscribed but the app still says I'm at the limit.
Open Reach Further from the menu and tap Restore Purchases. This asks the App Store to confirm your subscription. If it still doesn't unlock, make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Reach. You keep Further until the end of the period you've paid for. Your reaches are never deleted when you cancel.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one.

Your data

Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone only. There is no account and nothing of yours is kept on a server. If you back up your phone, Reach's data is included in that backup. The one thing that ever leaves your iPhone is the reach you hand to “Write it for me” or “Talk it through”, and even that is not stored. See the privacy policy.
Does Reach sync between my devices?
Not yet. Each device keeps its own reaches.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the Reach app from your iPhone. To delete a single reach permanently, archive it first, then delete it from the Archived screen.
